Vaughn Taylor professionally known as “Chambs Taylor” is an American hip hop recording and  performing artist. Raised in Throggs Neck projects located in Bronx, NY. “Chambs Taylor” was the son of a Drummer, Kevin Taylor. Chambs was raised around music and quickly formed a love for the arts. At the young age of 10 years old Chambs would study the art in its entirety via every genre with hip hop being his favorite.

 

Upon watching and listening to his older cousinsrapping in the projects, Chambs would write his own raps attempting to emulate his oldercousins. Chambs determined to reach the plateau and title of one of the greatest spitters to exist within the culture practiced the art day in and day out to perfect his craft. Throughout his junior high school and high school years he solidified his reputation for being the one of the mostlyrical rappers within his area. After graduating high school, Chambs moved to North Carolina where he recorded his first LP entitled “Looking for tomorrow yesterday”.

 

Chambs later returnedto his hometown of The Bronx, NY in which he released his second body of work entitled “2 Da TON (2 Da Top or Nothing)”. Now as a father and working a full time job, Chambs has found himself in a more mature and different space. While the city knows the name it has now been deemed time for the world to know.
